Jacqueline will be joining us from the Netherlands in 2022 to share her unique approach to paper piecing gorgeous quilts.

Jacqueline’s unique style and use of bright colors are loved by many and her classes are always in high demand.

The quilts look complicated but with her unique way of teaching she will show you how to make these quilts with confidence.
Broaden your knowledge, learn new techniques, play with beautiful rainbow colors, and be more confident that something which appears to be difficult is within your reach.

You will learn lots of tips and tricks to make paper piecing enjoyable and easy.

Early and late sewing is available each day. Make it even more fun and encourage your friends to join you!

All 4 patterns have a level of difficulty, which runs from a 3* up to and including a 6* design.
That means you have a choice.
Not only for the confident beginner but also for the intermediate and advanced quilters.

The 4 pattern choices are as follows...

Instructor: Jacqueline De Jonge
Instructor Bio: I became interested in quiltmaking in 1978. I always was creative in many ways but when I saw a quilt in a magazine, I was hooked. I love and enjoy working on my intrigued quilts. My goal is to inspire quilters all over the world with my ?Be Colourful? designs and to do something that you really love, is a miracle and a gift of God. I have made quilts that have won international awards. I won the Open European Color Trophy 3x and displayed my quilts worldwide. My quilts are based on traditional designs but with a contemporary and colorful twist. I live in the Netherlands in the beautiful city of Delft. The city well known for the Royal Delft Ware. I live close to my family and I?m passionate for my spoilt;-) Siamese cat, Mr. Pooky, he is the little Frankenstein of the house and my rescued Greyhound Merle. My way of patchwork/quilting is based on the paper foundation technique, using the sewing machine. You will obtain a perfect result when you work this way. The points, stars and flying geese are very sharp and beautiful. But this is not the only technique I teach my quilters. I make them familiar to work with colors and to be sparingly with their fabrics. The general thought is that paper foundation is using lots of fabrics. With the method, I have developed you can work very sparingly! I?m not only a passionate quilter but I?m also an encouraging and personal teacher and I love to share my enthusiasm for my designs with quilters and bringing them to a higher and different level to find their artistic skills in themselves. My goal is, that each class must be a nice and relaxed day for quilters. Broaden their knowledge, learning a new technique, to be more confident to learn that something which appears to difficult, is really within reach. But also, learning to play with colors and enjoying each other?s enthusiasm are very important for me. Still, they need to be work hard in my classes. I teach 3-4, or 6 day classes for 15-20 quilters because not all the quilters have the same level. It is not only important for me to give general instructions but I also teach very individual and personal. With this method of teaching the fast and advanced quilters can work faster and the quilters that need some more time to understand, still have the feeling that they really enjoy the classes!
