Learn to master your BERNINA Sewing machine as you work step by step through hands-on activities.
Learn to care for your machine and how to use specialty functions to customize machine settings to your needs. You’ll learn to use the most important utility stitches on your machine, such as straight stitches, overlock stitches, long stitches, blind hem, and buttonholes.
You’ll also learn about the many creative options of your machine, including decorative stitches, combi mode, free-motion stitching, and more.
Please bring your machine to class!
Don't forget all of the presser feet that came with your machine, foot control, knee lift, oil, cleaning brush, and manual.
Additional supplies needed...
a small quilt sandwich (12 x 12 up to FQ size is fine)
a few scraps of quilting fabric (6 x 6 or larger)
Because we are still affected by the pandemic, we've made some changes to how we run in-person classes:
Before signing up for class, please check your schedule and read our class policy carefully. To be fair to our teachers and other students we must remain firm on our registration and cancellation policies.
For any class where the fee is more than $100, 50% is due when you sign up. The other 50% of the fee is due 60 days before the class begins. To sign up with a deposit only, please call or stop by the store; we can only process full payment enrollments on the website.
If you need to cancel more than 60 days before the start of class, any fees paid are refundable except for an administrative fee of 10%. If it is less than 60 days, the fee (less admin fee) can be refunded only if your space in class can be filled.
Classes, where the fee is less than $100, must be paid in full when you sign up for class. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class and you will be issued store credit.
